| STEPS TO BUILDING A MINI-ME: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| First, find a suitable mold. This can be a small, cylindrical-shaped plastic bottle of any kind. Cut the top off and leave it about 4 inches tall. It requires a total of 4 pouring steps to finish a mini-me. STEP 1 Configure a small sbb coil like the one pictured above, Pour enough resin to cover it, and let harden. You can put glitter in for show at this point, then place your green garnet (tzavorite) right in the middle. Pour more resin just to cover it. STEP 2 Now begin your resin/metal layers. Pour about 1/2 of resin, add a layer of brass, topped with a thin layer of pyrite. This can be done in the same step. Although layering looks good here. STEP 3 Now it is time to configure your reactor core. Begin by preparing your individual tourmalines with wires, as pictured below. You may use silver, brass, or copper wire......even gold if you are so lucky! A 20 guage seems best. Anything larger is cumbersome to go around the tiny tourmalines. |
