The RZ Medallion .anyolite  (ruby/zoisite) .carnelian .citrine .garnets .green tourmaline .hematite .peridot .pyrite .ruby .turquoise I have had many requests to further describe the RZ medallion and what is special about the combination of minerals used within.  I will briefly touch upon the main properties in the minerals used so that you may see the connection and reason I chose these minerals. I have used silver and copper as well. From Melody's "Love is in the Earth", a comprehensive volume of information pertaining to minerals and their physical and spriritual qualities, I will site some indications of the minerals contained in the RZ medallion.  Keep in mind I am briefly touching on the properties, and that more can be found by reading the book.  This is not an ad for the book, and there are a few other books that are also good references for this type of subject. suze Although we do feel the book is an accurate body of research, any claims of healing properties are from the book, and are not meant to indicate substitute  treatment of disorders without usual  medical consultation.   Anyolite: The small green zoisite bead in the center of the ruby is actually a  ruby/zoisite, (also known as Anyolite,as there are swirls of ruby throughout its green).   Anylolite is very special in that it is the formation of masses of the two minerals, ruby and green zoisite.  (I added the ruby crystal slice in the  middle to increase the overall effects.) Ruby/zoisite can create altered states of consciousness, according to Melody's book.  It can serve as a vehicle for both reaching and utilizing the talents and abilities of the mind.  It provides for amplification of the entire  energy field of the body.  It has been used by healers in the Asian countries for both diagnostic healing and communication with the spirits.  It acts to improve disorders of the heart and help one recover from disorders associated with diminished physical activity.   Carnelian: Useful in the work of the first, second, third and fourth chakras.  Increases energy,compassion, cleanses negativity, protection from envy, fear and rage, and banishment of sorrow from the emotional structure.   Garnets: This magnificent mineral is for healing, and provides a springboard for all other minerals with which it occurs.  It will enact the properties in a more accellerated manner than if they were left on their own.  We like to include this one in most everything we do.     Green tourmaline:  Acts between the third eye and the heart, assisting in visualization.  It possess a masculine energy, but contains compassion, willingness to carry out intent. It is a plant growth enhancer.  It can transform energy to the positive state without releasing it to the atmosphere.  Inspires creativity, attracts success, prosperity and abundance.  It can help with eye related problems.  Helps with problems between male figures in life, such as brother to brother, or father to son relationships..  Helps heart, thymus and immune system.    Hematite:  This is another mineral we find a must in most of our tools. Helps with grounding and emotional clarity;   balancing yin and yang, utilizing the magnetic qualities to align the meridians within the body and provide a stable equilibrium between the etheraeal nervous system and the physical nervous system.  Focuses mind, body and spirit.  Attracts "kind love" for  healthy relationships.   Peridot: Acts to magnify inner aspects of any situation or circumstance.  Furthers understanding of life's changing states, and highlights patterns to avoid.  Can help regulate life cycles, mental, physical, emotional, intellectual, and so forth.  Provides protective shield.  Ameliorates anger and resentment.   Pyrite: This is also a mineral we find to be a necessity in almost all our tools.  Pyrite provides a metal to enhance any resin/metal matrix.  It is very protective in that it is a preventive of negative forms of energy.    It symbolizes the warmth and lasting presence of the sun. Encourages intellect,enhances memory skills,  health, and emotional well-being.    Ruby Stimulates the heart chakra, increasing  nurturing, spriritual wisdom, health, knowledge and wealth.  Known as the "stone of nobility".  A safeguard as well as an ameliorator of violence and an encourager of gentleness.  It is said to bring lucidity to the dream state, conveying understanding and control of the role of consciousness.     Turquoise: This mineral has much the same qualities as the Anyolite [ruby/zoisite] listed above.  It helps align chakras, also.  It provides protection and sooths, and bestows goodness and many other good things as well. It is a gift of the Earth, bringing together heavens and consciousness of Mother Earth. It elevates energies, bringing connection to higher planes of existence., increasing  any natural psychic powers Has master healing qualities and anti-negativity properties.
